Move-in

It is very important that within 72 hours of occupying your new home you submit the Move-in Inspection Form received at move-in.  This form is referenced at move-out and all damaged items not listed on the move-in form will be itemized from the tenant deposit on file.  You are encouraged to be as detailed as possible and keep a copy of this form for your records.
 

Important Tenant Responsibilities

Transfer of utilities into tenant's name.

Changing of HVAC air filters.

Ensuring all light bulbs are functional at move-out. 

Professional cleaning at move-out.

If applicable, keeping yard, landscaping well maintained.

If applicable, tenant is responsible for cleaning gutters periodically. 

Obtaining a renters insurance policy.

 

Bank Authorization Form/Auto Debit System

Nomadic offers all tenants access to our very popular auto debit system.  If you sign-up, rent due will be debited from your bank account on the first business day of each month.  It is a very flexible system that allows you to change bank accounts or amount debited per month if applicable.  To have future rent debited, please download our Bank Authorization Form and email or fax back to us.  Bank Authorization Form

Notice to Vacate

Please refer to your Lease Agreement to view how many days Notice you must provide to vacate the home.  If you do wish to vacate, please email or fax the following form to Nomadic: Notice to Vacate

 

Emergency Maintenance Issues

If you are experiencing any of the below please contact Nomadic at 202-223-9019 and leave a voicemail with contact information.  A representative will contact you within 1 hour. The following issues are classified under emergency maintenance and will be addressed immediately:

No Heat with temperatures below 32 degrees

No AC with temperatures above 90 degrees

No electricity

No running water

No functional toilet/shower

Water Leak of significant volume

Lock-out

Fire
