Joe co-founded Nomadic Real Estate with his brother Ben in 2005, two years after moving to Washington, DC following his graduation from Sewanee University with a degree in Economics. As a co-founder and strategic lead, Joe is focused on driving long-term, sustainable growth for the company. He plays a central role in developing and refining operational workflows to ensure Nomadic can scale efficiently while consistently delivering an industry-leading client experience. With a strong financial background, Joe oversees forecasting and modeling to guide smart investments in technology, software, and talent—ensuring the company remains agile, well-resourced, and ahead of the curve.
Personal Note
Outside of work, Joe stays active through running and cross-training, making the most of the trails around DC. A former collegiate athlete, he values exercise as a daily reset. He’s also an avid traveler with a long-standing goal of seeing as much of the world as possible—Paris, in particular, holds a special place in his heart and may one day become home. When not exploring new cities or managing the business, Joe enjoys writing. A creative writer at heart, he finds humor in the chaos of everyday life—something property management provides in steady supply.
