Eastern Market is the oldest public market in Washington DC, built in 1873. Capitol Hill Books is great for literature lovers. Barrack’s Row has dozens of eateries with outdoor terraces. It’s the best place to go to find mimosa filled brunches or great happy hours!
Yes! Organics and Trader Joe’s are the neighborhood grocers. Ted’s Bulletin is well known in DC for its boozy milkshakes and old time feel. Miracle Theater was built in the early 1900’s. It continues to show movies today, alongside serving as a church. We highly recommend Be Here Now Yoga for Yoga classes and natural healing sessions. District Donuts makes tasty donuts seasonally, fresh and daily. Coffee Bourbon has a warm social vibe and sells sustainable coffee from Rwanda.
